I have ULEAD Video Editor 7. Quite nice, excellent for editing short home videos, even feature length videos it can do work with, but only if you have a decent system.

Salaam wa alaikum.
I use Ulead VideoStudio 8 for now and will be switching to Adobe Premier 6 soon. VideoStudio is GUI-friendly and you can get around it pretty easily. It has novice features but not as professional as Premiere. If you want to start of, try VideoStudio and move on up to Premiere. I needed to produce some videos quick and make DVDs out of them, and Premiere just killed me at the beginning cause of their advaced GUI and too much features. I tried VideoStudio and it was quite smooth. It almost had all the features I needed to produce the video but Premiere coulda done it. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to learn Premiere then. So VideoStudio did the job quite well. Give it a try. Both are good in their own ways. Depends on what you are trying to do.

Salamwalaikum,

I would go with Adobe Premier if you have a PC, but if you are a MAC user then Final Cut Pro woudl be the ultimate software for editing. After effects is awesome for finishing touches.

Salamwalikum
